The holidays are over and life is back to normal. Well somewhat. I sit here happier than I was before my second last post. I say this because I have a girlfriend now. An amazing one at that. I'd be lying if I said I didn't see this coming. Me... confident? Perhaps cocky? Meh... But yes. Brittainy. Where to start? We just came together. Couldn't stop talking to one another for over two weeks. It was an addiction, and it went from there. I ended up giving her a Christmas Card and in it I wrote a little something special with the question asking her out at the bottom. Followed by two boxes, one labeled 'Yes' the other
labeled 'No'. I was happy to see her face light up and run to find a pen. Shortly after she returned and showed me 'Yes' was circled. More than once. :) We hung out all break and had an amazing time. New Years we chilled with her family in Rainy River of all places. The most mellow New Years of my life, but by far the best. Bringing in the New Year on such a chill note and with someone i've really grown to care about in a short time was amazing. I cannot say enough about her. How she makes me feel and how much I look forward to spending more time with her. The thing is, we live 3 hours away from each other... this is different for the both of us. I will do whatever I can to see her as much as possible. I wouldn't have got myself into this if I didn't think it would work out. For the first time in 6 months. I am happy.
Christmas. Busy.
Went home for a night. Slept. Went to Winnipeg the next day. Slept. Caught an early flight to Toronto. Spent 4 days in Stratford. Hit up Boxing Days in London and bought these!

Headed to Toronto at 4AM on the 29th. Caught a plane back to Winnipeg, drove straight home. Party at my place. Got drunk. Asked Britt out. *she said yes :)* Shut er down sometime around 4AM.... long day, but so worth it. Tyler Briggs was in attendance. I think he dug the OG Emo crew. Good times were had.
Chilled in Fort, mainly with Britt. Visited with as many people as I could. Most notables. Sydney and TK. Found out I suck at snowskating in Emo.... so hard!
New Years in Rainy with my gal and her family. Wooped her 6 year old sister in Mario Kart on the Wii. But then her 13 year old brother taught me a ser
ious lesson in Baseball and Tennis on WiiPlay. I suck.
Spent the last few days just trying to spend as much time with Brittainy and the my friends and family as possible.
Saying goodbyes always suck, but on the morning of the 3rd that's exactly what I was doing. I ended up forgetting my wallet. Luckily Jamie and I were only in Manitou when I realized and my parents came to Emo to drop it off for me. 9 hours later we arrived in Saskatchewan. Long and shitty drive. Both of our phones died with like 4 hours left in the trip. Not texting made it extra shitty. I ended up sleeping for most of the trip after Winnipeg, I felt bad, but nothing I could do...
Back to work today. Work is good. Lots to be done like always. I'm looking forward to taking more photos with me new gear and obviously getting to see Brittainy as soon as possible.
Tonight I had a pretty good little skate sesh in the basement. Bout 30 minutes of flat and then another 30-45 minutes of flat bar. I miss skating... but not
as much as I miss Britt.
