I'm back...

Alright. So it has been a while since my last post. Guilty? Yes. I have been a busy man. I last left off on a big skating kick. You should know that i'm still feelin' that. I've bought two 500 watt halogen lights for the basement and have been continuing to session down there. Learning a new tricks or two a week is the best feeling ever. More on that later. Speaking of the best feeling ever, let me tell you about my weekend.

Friday I left work early at 3PM and hit the highway. Destination: Winnipeg. What did I leave work early for, what did I so badly want to do in Winnipeg? Spend time with my girlfriend. And spend time with her I did. I got into the city around 7. Stopped and tried to buy her sunflowers (her fav) and had to settle for something that looked very similar only smaller. I think she loved them. Friday night was all chill. She wasn't feeling well so we took it easy. Watched Wonderland (2003) then pretty much called it a night. Knowing that Britt was pain and very uncomfortable I found it very hard to fall asleep as I was more concerned about her rather than my own self. I did everything I could to make her feel comfortable and try to fall asleep.

Saturday. Sleep in. Get a call from what sounded like my drunk brother and drunk friend. They are heading to the city and looking to get fucked up. We decided to meet them at the mall. We walked to breakfast at Stella's and then headed for Polo. After a essentially pointless trip to the mall we headed to my favorite Winnipeg skate shop, Green Apple. I bought a new wall board that was on sale, and two new local Winnipeg videos. Both are awesome I might add. While there Brittainy showed me this skateboard that ironically had nothing but a big sunflower on it. Upon leaving she made the smallest comment saying that she would totally hang that up at her place. I said nothing. :) Back to the condo to chill and then Joey and Jamie arrived. Soon after Melissa (Britt's friend) arrived and we were off to get some supper. The Keg downtown was fucking PACKED so we walked over to Earl's instead. The meal was great. I had a few drinks with supper and it was a good time. I should probably add that I was messed up on something prior to going to eat. For the first time in my life, I got high that day. That may make me a hypocrite but it happened. I dunno if it worked as well as it should have, but it happened. I have no complaints. Super was kinda crazy. It felt like I was eating in slow motion, haha. Wild. After supper we headed back to the condo and then randomly played some catch phrase and called a limo to take us to and from the bar. The bar we choose was Cowboys. It was pretty lame. Good company of course, but the bar was not my thing. I was drunk and high at this time. Not sure what time we all got back to the condo, but we crashed pretty hard.

Sunday. Lazy day. Slept in obviously. Joey and Jamie left early. Britt and I woke and made some food. Melissa finally came to and before long, some friends came over to watch the football game. The game was intense! After the game was over everyone left and it was just Britt and I. We watched some TV and basically just dreaded the idea of me leaving at any time. I then got on her computer and cleaned a few things up. Dazzled her with my geekiness perhaps. I then thought I would update her phone for her. The thing about Blackberry's and Mac's are that.... the softwear is shotty, really bad. So I ended up bricking her phone. I couldn't stand the thought of leaving her with no working phone and instantly felt like shit. I needed a PC to fix it. It was already after supper but I need to fix what I had done. We called her friend and drove to the South side of the city and after and hour or so I had it back and running. Minus everything she had on her phone.... still feel bad about it. (I'm sorry) By this time it was dark. I needed to leave as I had to work at 8AM the next morning. I drove Britt home and walked her up to her place and said my goodbyes. I hate goodbyes, and have never been good with them. Hugging her goodbye I discovered if I had the chance I could stare into her eyes for hours. That made leaving even harder.

8PM and I left the city. Got home at 11:30PM. Made short work of the drive. I was RIPPING! Which isn't good because something was wrong with my car. I found out Monday the front CV joints are gone. I definitely should not have drove to Winnipeg! But I don't think anything would have stopped me. $420 later I ordered new CV joints and will get them put in next week probably. Just in time to go back to Winnipeg. :)

Due to leaving so very late Sunday and not wanting to sneak away, As soon as Monday morning rolled around I called Mike from Green Apple and bought that board for Brittainy. It's being held as we speak. Sly dog I can be.

So yeah, my weekend was great! Very busy, hence not being able to update this blog.

This week i've been working lots. Skated once. Filmed. I'll have a small edit up soon.

Hit Estevan last night for a well needed Wal-Mart run. I think I have enough groceries for the next 6 months now. That is good.

Britt and Melissa are coming here Friday night. I cannot wait. As much as that means i'm going to have to say goodbye again, the hello, and time spent with her make it very much worth while. Tonight i'll be cleaning the house top to bottom. Haha.

Not much else to report. I got some photos to share. I painted last night! A concept that i've been thinking about for a long time. I got the idea from an old Element ad, but just didn't know how I wanted to go about it. I guess I had some extra inspiration last night and got shit done.

While skating this week I completely fucked my shoes, which turned into my sock then my baby toe. You'll see what I mean by the photo. And yes, that is blood on my grip. I know no pain I guess. Or when to quit. Silly me.

Waiting for some stuff in the mail. That is exciting. I'll let you know when the stuff arrives.

This could be my biggest post ever. I'm sure most people find it lame and dumb, but it's really just a compilation of my day to day, which I can see and agree with why it would be boring. I really like writing and if this is my only creative means of doing so, i'm gonna do it. So on that note, here are some photos.

The aftermath of not noticing my shoe and sock had been worn away.

The board that is soon going to be hanging in the condo of my girlfriend.

The painting I did last night.

The board that I bought at Green Apple. On sale due to being warped. I'm a sucker for Mac themed stuff.
