Sunday.

I should really get back to taking photos for this blog. That was the basic of it's conception. The main point of this whole thing has really drifted from that. I do not mind though. I like to think of this as an outlet for creativity and much more. I'm okay. I did however take some photos today. She inspired me to do so.

On another note, not working again today. Got a long day of driving tomorrow. Should be interesting. Oh well. 9 days until I reach Fort Frances. I'm not sure if i've even been this excited to go back there. That can only mean good things. I talked to her this morning. And even late last night. Conversation was great as per usual. I think knowing that we make each others day better is an amazing thing. Feeling so comfortable and at ease is a really refreshing thing. I feel like even I couldn't say something to dumb, and if you kn
ow me.... I say a lot of dumb stuff, haha. I won't get into this too much as i'm sure I say a lot of the same stuff each day. I cannot help that, which is kinda scary. Good though. V. Good.

And for the picture of the day. The long awaited one.....

"You're not alone. No matter how bad things seem."

Saturday!

Today is going good. Not working for once. Don't know how I lucked out there. I talked to her this morning and that always puts a smile on my face. Never fails.

I've been texting her so much lately I feel like I'm being annoying or something. Perhaps it's just a reaction from having my heart broken 6 months ago and feeling like no one wants to hear from me. Perhaps my confidence was wounded. It's like I need reassurance that people want to talk to me on a daily basis. Can't be healthy to think that way. But then again is waking up and having someone tell you they care about too much look for? I wouldn't think so. Either way, damaged or not, I think we feel the same way about each other and are just taking things day by day. I rushed into something before and well... it didn't turn out for the best. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want thinks to progress.

Enough babbling about my sappy 'love life'. No one reads this anyways. Tonight I will be attending the Eagle Drilling Services Christmas party. I was at the Equal Transport/Moose Mountain Mud one last night. It sucked, but I made an appearance which was probably a must. My brother was wasted. We stole a shit load of chicken wings at about Midnight and drove home. It was pretty amusing looking back. I'm hoping my friend will accompany me tonight so I don't have to go alone. Don't really have anyone else to bring that is actually realistic. Oh well, i'll just make sure my phone is charged for obvious reasons and do my best to be the only sober social person there. Proves to be tough sometimes, specially when most people are strangers, but that's life.

On another note. I really want to skate! I just want to be able to walk outside. Throw down my board. Push three times and pop an ollie onto a curb. Keep dreaming I guess....

I'm am really looking forward to going home for Christmas! I fly from Winnipeg to Toronto on the 25th. Spending a few days with my Dad's family in Stratford, ON. Flying back to Winnipeg on the 29th. My brother and I will then drive home that afternoon to be in Fort for hopefully a awesome party at our house. I'll be in Fort till the 3rd. Back out here on the 4th. I feel kinda like i'm being ripped off this year with a short holiday. Sounds bad, but I kinda just want to spend time in Fort. I don't really mean that, because seeing my cousins is long overdue. It's been about 2 years. However seeing her and my other friends is also very important. Well, It is what it is. I'll do my best to make the best of the time spent there. I just hope it doesn't fly by as fast as I think it will. Time will tell.

Until next time....

New things.

So I've finally received all my parcels in the mail and let me just say that it most definitely feels like Christmas around here. In case the -44 weather didn't already give me that tingly feeling.

I've been so happy lately. I haven't really been blogging at all and that kinda bums me out. But at the same time if it's because i'm talking to 'her' that i'm not blogging... well let's just say that's a sacrifice i'm willing to make.

She makes me feel so happy. So.... content. So..... many things. I've always known her, but just recently in ways that i'd never known her before. I like what i'm finding. There are new surprises everyday. I don't even remember feeling this way before. I have no idea where this is headed, but that is not even the point. I guess the point is, is that I'm honest enough to admit I care and for not ashamed of how I feel. I really feel like i've come full circle. She treats me how i've always wanted to be treated. That isn't too much to ask, is it? Well who knows. What I do know is that i am happy for first time in over 5 months and i have her to thank. Whatever happens happens. I mean obviously, i'm hoping for the best. Getting hurt again would not be a best case scenario.

I think i'll close this out with a quote she showed me.

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they go right. You
believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart, so that better things can fall together." - Marilyn Monroe

And a picture of me. It's been a while. Rastafarian wanna-be me.

Haha. Sorry for any confusion.

What is going on?

I just wrote a poem. I've never written a poem. What is going on?....

I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it....

Long Time. No Update.

It's been a while since I've posted. I feel lame for having let that happen. However, I do let just that happen far too often. I tried the whole Tumblr thing for a while now and to be completely honest loved it at the start. I think once I started checking my 'Tumblrairity" rating it lost it's appeal. I began to think of it like some sort of content. For starters my life isn't interesting enough for random strangers to come across my non sense and 'like' it or follow my blog. I am happy with just sitting here typing my day to day shit and more less letting anyone or no one how I feel.

With that being said I had a very interesting weeken
d. Went to Winnipeg, and had a great time. Perhaps to good of a time. I got drunk... at a bar. This has never happened to me before. But as I said, I had a great time. Thanks to anyone and everyone who was out with us this weekend!

I've gotten some of my stuff in the mail that I've been ordering. The big CCS order. The Rhymesayer stuff, the ATM Click stuff, and even my 16GB MiniSD card for my new phone. I've yet to put my new trucks on my board as there is a s
hit load of snow here and just haven't even had time to skate the basement. Maybe I'll do that tonight. I should mention the griptape I ordered was short shipped and it is now on the way. The Vans shades I ordered were also different that what they looked like on the site. I'll post a photo of the ones I actually got at the bottom. Speaking o
f shades I actually have another pair on the way. These ones are a lot more expensive and actually kind of a collectors item. My roommates knows a guy in Manitoba who just happens to be an Okaley Sales Rep in Canada. So for 50% off the actual website price plus +GST and ship
ping I'm getting one of only 1000 pairs made Limited Edition Eric Koston Frogskin glasses. In Black/Grey Woodgrain. These shades are amazing! I cannot wait to hold them. :)

That is all for now. Hope to have more soon.

Photos.

Had some Chinese takeout last night. Below is my fortune. I await this miracle!

Above is a little project I took on this morning. I awoke to the most frost outside to date and instantly had this vision. I showered, tossed on some spring attire and grabbed my cam. I set everything up and convinced my friend to come outside and take the shot. Few warm tricks with a hoody on and then it was down to business. Not too much long after we had the shot. I did all the editing in Photoshop and came up with the finish product above. It's also on my Flickr.

Inspiration

I want to take more photos!

I'm inspired by something, and I want to take more and more photographs.

I need to really look at my surroundings and find art.

I mean I live with two other guys (who think pictures are 'gay') and in a small town at that.

I'll find something to capture I'm sure.

I also decided I want a new lens or two for my Rebel XTi. Either a decent macro lens or a full frame fisheye. Looking forward to Christmas is all I can say. :)

I got a new Blog.

I signed up for a Tumblr account yesterday.

It's amazing. So much good art and photography floating around there.

Wonder how long it takes me to ditch this one....

I'll do my best to update both when I can.

News.... nothing at the moment.

Maybe lataaaaaaa.

Numero 56

News....I'm posting at work.

Awesome!

Just did a fair size Flickr upload.

Filmed some basement skating the other night. Edit to come soon via Facebook, Flickr, YouTube.

Got the Friends edit up. I really enjoy it.

Still have some BMX footy to edit and upload.

My Ode to Apple art project is now in the works, as I think I have all the stuff I need to complete it.

Our internet sucks at the house. Which is why I've been downloading all my... stuff... at work. The connection here is NUTS! It tested at 11.8 MB/s 2 days ago. :)

My brother's birthday is tomorrow. I should buy him something..... not sure what though, no where to shop here. I'll look at lunch.

Not much else to report. Mission for the weekend. Find skate spots and build a 10' long box for the basement. Yessssss!

Deck Painting.

This is the broken board that I painted last weekend. Wanted to make some art to hang up in the new (sparse walled) living room. It ended going in my friend's room. None the less it was a completed painting. Not too sure where the inspiration came from. The only thing I could think of was that it's November and still no snow... hence the leaves still everywhere? Maybe.

PS. Sorry for the glare. I was lazy and didn't want to shot on Manual settings. Auto for the lazy man tonight.

Slowing Down?

Where to begin. I'm all moved in Manor, SK. My brother, my good friend Jamie and I are sharin a 3 bedroom house here in Saskatchewan. It's going pretty great so far. The house is decent. We've already got a new stove, due to a bunk old one, lol. Half of the house has fresh paint. We got internet yesterday.... it's kinda bunk though. I'll have to take it easy on the the downloads. The basement is totally unfinished an mainly for storage and laundry. However it's perfect for our new ping pong table (beer pong table as my house mates call it) and my Zero Switchblade rail :). We've already got the house measured for all new carpet and tiles that are going to be put in soon. We also just found out we're getting new counter tops. There isn't much left that we need to finish the place off. I wish it had a dish washer though! I think we might even be getting a different fridge. This one is really small and ghetto... aka old! Work is going great. No cheque yet... one more week... thank god! Half for rent and half to VISA probably. I am kinda thinking about building some quarter pipes in the basement though.... time will tell. Wow, I just started watching Californication and let me say, it is awesome. I did the whole first season in two sittings. I think i'm going to begin season two tonight. I've been eating really healthy lately. Not sure why, probably cause it's good for me. I hope to keep on that path and get in shape also. That would be great. Finally sat down and edited my footage from this year. It's on my YouTube and Facebook. I am pretty proud of it. I've already been given lots of props, so worth breaking my wrist and putting a hole in my leg. I edited a part for my friend Justin, it also turned out really good. I have a bit more edits to do, should be done those in a week or so. Depends on my schedule. This weather is nuts. Halfway through November and no snow. I love it! I went skating at a out door skate park on Remembrance Day. It was fun! Small little park build by Barkman. Similar to Fort with more tranny. Everything was small and tight. It was a good change. I'm hoping to film some basement skating and post that soon. Also some sort of creative photos. I've been so busy i've kinda lost touch on that. Did a painting last weekend. Got one more in mind. I'll try to get pics up this weekend. This is so all over the place. One point to the next. I should really make these paragraphs.... too late now. Anyways, I'm still at work for another 20 minutes. I should make the best of my time. Lunch was amazing today, I might add. Staff BBQ. Skewers. So good! That is all for now. Hope to post more sooooooon!

I'm Back

Well kinda. Still busy, but with internet in my house!!!!

My Part.

This is basically my 'part' for the year. After not starting to really skate until June of this year and then dealing with a broken wrist for 9 weeks it was kind of a slow start to the season. Living in a small town doesn't help much either. I did however go through some things that only motivated me to get on the board as much as possible and I guess the results are seen here. I didn't film much and don't consider myself to be any good, however I am proud of this part, I feel I got a lot better this season. I haven't felt that about my skating for years.

I've tried to upload this video for the last two days... it does not seem to be working. Just go to my YouTube Channel and watch it.

Sorry folks.

Sappy McSappster

Do you ever just wake up thinking about someone? For no reason at all? I do. More often than I'd like to admit. It sucks. I'm not a very religious man and I don't pray too often, but when I do I pray that I could forget. I'm not sure what it is that I miss? Her? Maybe just her company, her mere presence? I wish I had all the answers, I'd settle for even half. I would have never guessed that I would still be waking up feeling the way I do some mornings. I mean, I'm okay with the fact I'm alone. I get that. I will never understand how I was treated or why, but I'm okay with that also. I am not okay with my friends telling me that no matter what "they always come back." I know her. I know her well, I know she is not coming back. I think I'm just lonely, and for once in my life I'm admitting it. I love my alone time don't get me wrong, but I think I'm just better off with someone. I feel like i'm a better person with her, or someone else for that matter. I'm not complaining, or pouting, all is fair in love and war, I now know that. I'm just venting more than anything I guess. So what, I miss my Ex some days. That's normal. I'm just wondering when that will disappear. When I can look through my DVD binder and read a movie title that was made pre 1980 and not think of her, you know? I could really do without that. Her and I are great friends. We enjoy each others company. I think I feel like our friendship is stronger than it really is sometimes. Maybe I tell her too much. Maybe I'm just looking for that next step, like it was the first time. Who knows. Bottom line is people move on. I am moving on, just not all the way yet. Time heals all wounds, this has proved to be true I've found. It's funny to think how her and I have come so far individually from who we were when we first met. I wonder what she saw in me then? Perhaps when she lost sight? What if we just met for the first time now, as we are now? All 'what ifs' aside that is not going to happen. This has made me a much stronger person, as I've never been through anything like it in my life. I feel for once, like my life has a little direction. I feel like I've made some big steps in the last 2-4 months. I can only hope that it continues to get better. Maybe tomorrow morning I'll wake up and nothing will be on my mind. Wake up with a clear head. I can only wait and see.

PS. Internet tomorrow. The downloading BEGINS! I have about a week worth of TV to catch up on. Busy man. Nothing has changed....

Dead?

Dead you wonder.... no you don't. Not dead. Just busy. Oh... and without internet at home. That should be all taken care of on Tuesday. Just a quick recap. I've moved and am living in Manor, SK with my brother Joey and our friend Jamie. I'm working in Carlyle, SK. All is good. Great even. No time to expand. More updates soooooon!

Falling Behind.

I've still been quite busy. I've booked and cancelled a flight in the last two weeks. Fucked up my shin and had to get stitches. Decided to move to Manor, SK with my brother and friend. Still working at Wal-Mart. Had my last appointment in Thunder bay for my wrist. I've basically been running around with my head cut off. I have edited and uploaded new videos on my Facebook, YouTube and Flickr. I'll update after the move this weekend once I/we get all settled in. Oh. One of the guys I follow on my Flickr who takes amazing HDR's just posted some from the Falls! Kinda cool. Check them out here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bryanscott/

I have been taking a few photos while at the park these past few days. Here is a kinda cool one that I like.

Oh yeah!

My ATM deck that I got replaced cause it broke all weird and I got it replaced.... well I skated the replacement last night for an hour.... look how that went.

Depending on how ATM handles this shit.... I may not ever ride their boards again.

October.

The weather sucks right now. Some days it's raining, other days it's snowing and when it's not doing either of those it's windy as fuck and really cold. No skating for me! Bunk. It's my birthday on Saturday. I'll be 23. Woooo. Birthday's aren't that cool anymore. I mean, I already got most of my presents. Money from relatives, new tires on my Pathfinder, heck , I even got an ice cream cake from DQ already. I guess I just have Facebook wall posts to look forward too..... how exciting, lol. Not much to report this evening. I'm still super busy doing stuff. Lots on my plate. I have some design stuff I'm doing for my brother. Some art projects I want to finish. Soph is in the hiz-ouse and she needs much attention and brushing I might add. I'm trying to get some stuff tired up around the house, because a move may be in the works for me. Trying to sort that shit out. I have a doctor's appointment in Thunder Bay next week. I am flying to Toronto to go see Metallica again and drive home from Barrie with a friend. Still have to decide how I'm going to break that little bit of news to Wal-Mart. I don't really care to be honest. I usually try to put forth my best efforts while working there, and don't get me wrong I still do. I just have lost the will to put forth that much effort into something that I know isn't gonna do anything for me, aside from put gas in my car basically. Sounds bad, but it's not as terrible as I make it sound. Anyways, enough babble. Cute cat photo to end it..... I think so.

The Soph watching Jim and Pam tie the knot. Good episode if I do say so myself.

Thursday, October 15, 2009

Oh! While I was in Winnipeg I bought some new shoes. To my surprise, this morning while at work I looked down and noticed this!!!

I haven't even touched a board with them yet. They are 2 days old. They have come nowhere even close to a sheet of grip tape. I assume they are defective. A bad piece of material that just ripped as opposed to the sole breaking in like the right shoe. Who knows! I've contacted both the shop and Lakai directly. We'll see what happens.

Sophboarding.

This is pretty extreme! Readers.... *silence* this creature is known as *dun dun dun* The Soph. Aka Sophie, Soph, Blinkin', Squints, the list goes on!

Home

I arrived home today with my ex's cat Soph. I got a speeding ticket on the way.... that fucking sucked. 113KM in a posted 90KM zone. $111.13..... lame. I made a shit ton of money out west. All of which went on my VISA. Bought some flashy gear in Winnipeg. Saw Metallica live.... AMAZING. Got my RAM fixed in the new (old) iMac for free. :) Now I'm just chilling in Fort. My parents got me new tires on my Pathfinder for my birthday... excellent! All is well. And well, (cat) hair is everywhere. I took a lot of pictures out west, many HDR's. I will try to get them up on here and Flickr ASAP. Now I must go play catch up on missed TV shows. Oh and do 1000 push ups... cause i'm not a lazy person who just watches too much TV... Noooooo.

I Made It.

I made it to Saskatchewan last night at about 5PM. That put me here for 4PM at there time. It was a solid 8 hour drive. Not too interesting. A few cool sights, mainly flat farm land and oil pumps though. I did almost hit a deer though. Close call. Saw many ducks and geese also. I got heavy searched at the Baudette border. Sucked. Overall it was a good trip. Listen to a lot of good music. Mainly KiD CuDi and Ratatat. I took a photo at this one spot that I have been wanting to take for years, but have never stopped to get it done. It was a pretty lax drive so I opted to take it this time around. See it below or on my Flickr. I've been working since 9AM here in Carlyle. It's a super nice office! So fancy! I got my own office and well have been getting paid to take photos and design things in Photoshop all day. Pretty awesome! If only I could skate a private skatepark on my lunch break, haha. Meh, I'll settle for a club sandwich and soup from the Skyline across the highway like I did today. Which were both amazing I might add. 'Till next time....

On The Road..... (not) Again.

Tomorrow morning I hit the open road. I'm off to Carlyle, SK. I'm going to be doing some filming/photography and editing of both for my brother's boss's oil drilling business. This is going to kinda be like a holiday for me, but one where I make money. :) Getting out of Fort Frances will be nice. I haven't been west of Brandon before, so it will be something to see. I got almost all my stuff packed ready to go... skateboard included. I have plenty new fresh music to sample, it should be a good trip. As good as a 9-10 hour solo drive can get. Wish me well. Later. Photos and maybe even video to come soon. Stay tuned.

Dryden

Today I went to Dryden with a few of my biker friends. It was just a day trip. I was the only skater on board. Mainly for photo and video purposes of course, as I don't have a good board and am still recovering from a broken wrist. It was a good time. Got some footage, got some photos. I had tons of fun. As you can see below I ripped open a old scab.... never fun. Back to work tomorrow. I have to go cash my cheque from Lakeland tomorrow. Go across to pick up my new boards and Berrics order. Get gas. Chill with my grandparents. Still busy ole me. It never ends.

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

Day At The Park.

I went skating after work today. Well I can't really call it skating when all that I have to skate is a filming board...with filming wheels and ollllllllllld trucks. But yeah... work with what you have. Work flew by, after working 14 10+ hour shifts, a 4 hour shift at Wal-Mart feels like a lunch break. Any-who; back to the skating. Got quite a bit of park footy today. Mainly of Chief killin' it, a line of Barnard and quite a few photos. They are posted on Facebook (shit quality)and Flickr (the best place to view them.... link on the right) . Here is a few that I was experimenting with on Photomatix Pro and making them HDR's. Enjoy!

What I'm Working With.

Back To Normal.... Kinda...

Alright. So the shut down work is ova! I got laid off Saturday. Made if really far for my first year doing it. I made over three grand in two weeks. We'll see what the cheque is after taxes though. My life is now sort of getting back to normal. I start back at Shit-Mart (Wal-Mart) tomorrow. I'm trying to get off Wednesday to go to Dryden with some bikers to do some shooting and video stuff for fun. We'll see how that pans out. My grandparents from Stratford, ON are coming here on Thursday for the long weekend. On Monday I'm heading out to Estavan, SK to do some video work for my brother's boss. He owns an oil drilling company... I hope to make a decent amount of cash out there. :) I've got 11 skateboards coming in the mail. 10 blanks from blankdecks.com. The "house special" I think.... 8.25" x 31.25".... I think. The other one is coming back on warrenty from ATM Click. Broke really weird and they are sending me a new one.... excellent! Oh, I also have the one I'm waiting on from The Berrics. The signed limited edition 1 of (now) 40 Plan B JP Ladd decks. Recently I've kinda been on a buying rampage. I got the newer Intel iMac. A 22" Samsung display for it. Some DVI cables to extend my desktop. New Lakia shoes a while back. I ordered a Battle At The Berrics DVD the other day. I'm thinking about buying another X-Box 360 for my bedroom so I can stream video content from my computer up to my room. (seems pointless, but they are only $150 on sale right now) So yeah..... should tame down the spending a tad. Hoping to get all this money and well maybe pay off my VISA. That would be amazing. I have a doctor's appointment in Thunder Bay at the end of October seeing how I missed/forgot about the checkup on the 22nd. My wrist still hurts a little, but I think it's getting better. This is all very random, but I'm just trying to get up to speed. I beat the new Batman game today. It was pretty good, I enjoyed it. I tried to do some experimenting with HDR photography at night tonight.... I failed. Even after taking down the iso to 400, still waaaaay to much grain. It was really windy too... and my tripod kinda sucks. Oh well. I'm really feeling the photography stuff right now. Hope to have some new stuff up soon. I think I'm gonna upgrade my Flickr to a Pro account. There I go.... spending more money. Skating! Wow, I haven't been skating much. The shut down really boned me there. No time or energy. I feel like I've gained 50lbs because I haven't moved for so long. Once I get my boards, I'll be on a non-stop skating/filming mission to get as much in as I can before winter. Other than all this not much is new. Been downloading a lot of music and movies. Really into a hip-hop phase right now. I, however, have been listening to the new Kill Hannah today and really like it. Movies.... haven't really had time to watch any. Lots of TV being watched though. Dexter was amazing. CSI.... feel asleep at the end, but the intro was sick! The movie Antichrist.... wow. Worth a watch. William Dafoe was a shocker. The movie itself was well... shocking, to say the least. Well, that's it for now. This is enough babble and spelling mistakes for one day. Oh, and I might be headed to Kenora in the coming weeks to help a friend shot a commercial for a school project. Busy Busy Busy! Bye.

This Is What I've Been Up To.

No time to talk. Tired. Busy. The cycle never ends... well at least not 'till the 28th...

This is where I have been working for the past few days.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

I start safety watch at the Mill tomorrow with Lakeland Security for the next two weeks. As far as I know i'll be working 12 hour shifts for the next 14 days. If you thought I was really sucking at updating this recently, it's about to get a lot worse. Haha, you've been warned.

Sept. 9th Entry.

Day off work. Didn't have much on the list to accomplish, and what little things I did want to do, I got done. It was basically a day of skating. I started it off getting up early and TK met me here. We did a little round up of supplies and got everything we needed to build a new pole jam.... we had everything except the pole. We eventually got one given to us, I'd like to say a big thanks to Keith Caul at Pryde's Plumbing! We then went to the local wanna be skate shop place. I was going to see if I could get a new board because my last one lasted two sessions and seems to be defected. I was told to deal directly with the company and ended up buying a new deck.... it cost $104 with tax..... shoot me! That's half of my last cheque spend on skate stuff..... good thing I love it and it's the only thing that keeps me sane, not to mentioned occupied in this place. Any who, we went to the park and built the new pole jam. It was a lot steeper and higher than the last. TK nearly died on it and I just couldn't land it. It kept shooting me so high up and the bottom half of my body couldn't commit. More skating went down as usual. We left the park for a bit, relaxed, ate, came home, and went back for round two. After seeing how the pole jam went we decided to "fix" it. A few alterations later, it was perfect. I was the only one who ended up doing it for today.... the first :). After skating was done, I chilled at the park then headed to Emo to meet up with Mike and Krista. We watched Big Brother and had a awesome supper. BBQ'd boneless ribs, BBQ'd potatoes, caesar salad and multigrain Tostitoes with homemade salsa dip stuff from Cloverleaf. After supper I hooked up and configured their new wireless router, played with their new kitten Berkley and watched some videos on YouTube, lol. Random night. I drove home in a crazy lightening storm and enjoyed the ride while blasting music waaaay too loud. I find myself very tired and sore and heading to bed as soon as possible. Tomorrow I have to be at the Abitibi Training Building by 9AM for the safety watch training then I work 2-10. Tomorrow is probably going to be a long and boring day. Can't wait.... I just keep thinking about the scrillaaaaa! G'night.

Catch Up Time!

Alright, so I've been REALLY busy lately. I'm trying to find a better job. Looking high and low. I'm skating as much as I possibly can. I just bought a Intel 19" iMac from a friend and have been stocking it up with everything from my old one. Not to mention cleaning off the old one. Burning many movies off my EXT HDD. I then reformatted my old iMac. I had a huge To-Do List this week and I'm happy to report almost everything is crossed off. I've been e-mailing people. Uploading and editing footage and photos. Building skateboard ramps/obstacles. Getting travel grants ready to mail. Helped my friend AG shoot a commercial at Revco Carpet. I've been busy. I've borrowed the new Batman game for X-Box 360 from a friend and haven't even put it in my system yet... I've had it since Friday. There are still things to be done, but I think I'm caught up for the most. In the past few weeks a lot has happened, but nothing interesting of course. I went to Thunder Bay and it was the longest day of my life. I basically drove 8 hours (alone) and waited 3.5 hours in a hospital (alone) for a 10 minute conversation with the doctor that I could have had on the phone. Whateva. Anyways, the cyst I have is not a problem at this point. That means, no going to Toronto for bone graphing.... YES! *fist pump*. As for work. Nothing came from Boston Pizza. Lame. I have to call a DVD Merchandising company back tomorrow, and I may have a lead on a job in the mining industry. *fingers crossed*. I have training for the mill safety watch this Wednesday and start that on the 14th for two weeks. So yeah.... switching things up a bit. Could use a well needed break from the big W. Ummm.... what else... Not much... I'm boring. Here's some photos..... :)
