An Old Dog Learning New Tricks.

Today I slept in till about noonish. Woke up, showered, and headed to the park after some food. I stayed at the park from about 1PM-8PM. Loooooooong day. Lots of skating. I thought it would be cool to film myself doing some of the new tricks I've been learning since I've been home. I'm uploading all the footy right so I'll edit something up and post it later, both here and on my YouTube channel. It was nice to be out the whole day on my day off. Skating and chilling with all the different kids at the park. I remember being like them, in high school, no cares, responsibilities, bills, ect....just chill. I like that vibe, nothing but fun. After everything that I've been feeling it's nice to just go and have fun, forget about everything and skate. Skating means so much to me...it's amazing. I've never ever took skating serious or anything like that. It's hurt me and scarred me, done many bad things to me. But on top of all that it gives me one of the best feelings I've ever felt. Stepping on that board and pushing around puts a smile on my face, no matter what i'm feeling. I forget about everything and just zone out. There have been times that skating has been more or less a part of my life, but through the thick and thin it will always be there for me. No matter what i'm going through, i know grabbing that board and going for a roll will make everything go away, if only for a few hours. I had a few solid wipeouts today, as you will see later when the edit goes up. Bascially I think my entire right side is bruised due to not being able to brace myself with my right arm (the cast) and just taking the hits with my side/shoulder etc. I did manage to take a few pictures today at the park, which i'd like to share. Here yah go!
